The Play Things of Superheroes

Have you ever wondered what Batman and Superman played with when they were just wee little super-hero critters?

In addition to wearing Jack Bauer Pajamas at night, both these superheroes entertained themselves with the pliable yet extremely volatile Jack Bauer action figure (Super Weapon-cache satchel sold separately). In fact, it is rumored that they learned their superhero ninja moves from 8:00pm to 9:00pm every monday night.

Don't fret. You too can own one of these semblences of tainted justice for just $189.99, while supplies last. And, as always, time is running out. If you order now, it will arrive just in time for the Season premire, which, according to the official 24-Countdown Clock is just 5 days, 3 hours, 5 minutes and 9 seconds away.

I've got to get me one of these! But, 189 dollars, are you kidding me?

No Joke.

I always figured that the kind of guys that watched 24 over Lost were the kind of guys that played with dolls.

This may very well be the greatest blog entry the world has ever known. Well done Ched...well done.

Touche. Very Nice.

I appreciate the Hyperbole.

I am very impressed with the features of these figures. Quite lifelike. However, I did notice that they were all 6 inches tall. Therefore, Jack Bauer towers over Jack Shepherd. I'm fairly certain that this is indicative of their respective manlinessnesses.

Jack the pediatrician: -1

Nice.

Shame, shame--Jack's a spinal surgeon, not a pediatrician. Also, I hear that while being held by the Chinese, Jack Bauer was forced to make 200 iPods and 17 pairs of black stretchy pants. This will be featured in the first episode of the new season.

No doubt. No Doubt.

A striking discovery has been made... Ched, "Mr. 24" what was that in the box that Madison handed you? Confessions?!?!?

Dr. J

what was that in the box that Madison handed you?

Is it not a legitimate practice to study heresy in order to effectively refute it?

Ched, your response seems stilted and a bit nervous. It is not like you to split an infinitive. Is there something you are not telling us?

Touche.

It is not like you to split an infinitive.

Alas, I must now repent into dust and ashes.

Ched, Dr. J, and Dr. K (because I hear he is an interested party in this),

No need to repent.

Many people with a vested interest in the English language have previously held that a split infinitive is a solecism. However, most language experts are now in agreement that a split infinitive is actually appropriate grammar in certain instances.

Ched, if you deem a split infinitive necessary in your formidable command of the English language, then feel free to boldly go where no archaic grammarian has gone before.

Pun intended.
