hey ched, i just ordered genesis unbound, the 16 dollar version i think its copyright is 2011. Do you know what the difference is between that and the 1996 version is?

The 2011 version is published by DawsonMedia (a branch of Navpress) and includes a new foreword by Gerry Breshears and Merit Quarum.
It's technically catalogued as a "second edition," but it's essentially the same as the original. So it's basically a re-print with new formatting and a foreword (the actual book has a good feel to it).
Welcome to the blog of Ched Spellman. I am blessed to be a believer in Jesus Christ, the husband of Leigh Anne, the father of Hope and Kate, and a PhD student of theology.
This "public space" is an extension and reflection of my personality, so the posting here will be steadily sporadic, highly idiosyncratic, and involve a disproportionate amount of word plays.
Ched, do you anywhere that has a list of all of the reviews of Mounce's "Basics of Biblical Greek," 3rd edition (grammar and workbook)?
Thank you very much.
David Brewer
David, I'm not aware of any such list, but I do know of two reviews of the Third Edition:
1. Review in SBL by Laurence Vance.
2. Review in Southwestern Journal of Theology by myself.
Also,
3. Review in The Southern Baptist Journal of Theology by Barry Joslin.
