"The Gift: It's not just the thought that counts," a short film

What you are about to see is real and was shot as the events were taking place. The names of the characters have been changed, but then edited back in for dramatic effect.

The moral of the story: Gentlemen. Think long and hard before you give her that "perfect" gift. I think this insight is applicable to many occasions (e.g., Valentine's Day, Anniversary, Birthday, President's Day, Compliment Your Mirror Day, Rubber Eraser Day, etc.).

This represents our first foray into viral visual edginess. :)

Other Blogging Haunts:

I also occasionally post annotations that I make as I read Cormac McCarthy at "Reading Cormac McCarthy."
