"The Real CTU"

Today I was looking at pictures of the National Counterterrorism Center, which I had never seen, but which seemed eerily familiar.

The caption on the picture of the front of the building (located in an "undisclosed location") noted that "each office is essentially a vault, with a coded lock to get in" and that "the external windows are bullet- and blast-proof."

The wikipedia entry for the NCTC contains this gem:
It is often described, inaccurately, as the real version of the Counter Terrorist Unit from the American serial television series 24.

It's interesting that the editors of the wiki entry felt the need to add "inaccurately" to that statement.

Please, who would ever make that correlation?
