What It's All About, according to 2 Timothy

I was reading the Timothies last night, and I realized that in 2 Tim, Paul let's us in on what life is really all about.

It's all about who you know:
But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me. (2 Tim 1:12)
About who knows you:
But God's firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: "The Lord knows those who are his." (2 Tim 2:19)
And about who's got your back:
At my first defense no one came to stand by me, but all deserted me . . . But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me . . . The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. (2 Tim 4:16-18
